On.Board is a design team that together with diverse communities develops projects that look for designing products, spaces and strategies which depending on the context, maximizes skills in each community and solves particular issues.

On.Board we work by means of a participative and creative process. Participative because learning and constructing in a collaborative way brings value like appropriation and care; and creative because by promoting innovative thinking autonomy is promoted then processes and tools can be replicated independently by the community.

We guide design decisions adapting knowledge, skills, and new approaches to reach collaborative solutions based on ecological, economical and socio-cultural sustainability.

We believe that human resources are meaningful and remain inside the communities, for that reason we design not for communities but with them, performing creative workshops to empower each member with knowledge. In this way, in each session and as a group with the community, we develop the structure and objective of each project. Consequently solutions are born by the community generating a result that can be long-lasting and multiplied.

Development of communication strategies to facilitate promotion of products, services and programs offered by communities and organizations.
On.Board, projects are developed in three main steps: Discovery, Co-creation and opening. They guide processes in a participatory way thought creative workshops and diverse design tools.
The real value On.Board is the set of skills and knowledge of each community has, that is why any project starts by looking and making emphasis on them rather than on needs solely. This leads the process to better manage of human and material resources and to a feasible and encouraging project.
